Bookmark your life: Mobijot helps you organize, recall and share the favorite Places, Services, Things and People in your life. With minimal keystrokes, you can jot down key attributes such as name, category, location and attach photos, comments, ratings for anything from a bar or hotel to a bottle of wine. Then you can quickly find your favorites through a quick search, as well as share on your desired social network.
For Places, you can jot the name, category (e.g. restaurants, hotels, bars, spas or others) and then add, through a Places API lookup or free text, the exact location of the Place. For restaurants, the cuisine can be selected from a wheel option. In addition, you can add a picture of the Place from the iOS Picture Gallery or take a photo with the camera and attach to the Place jot. You can add a rating (1-5 stars) as well as tag a place as a Favorite and add comments.

For Services, you can jot the name, category (e.g. from accountant and attorney to travel agent veterinarian) and then add, through a Places API lookup or free text, the exact location of the Service, if applicable. In addition, you can also add a picture of the Service (or service provider) from the iOS Picture Gallery or take a picture with the camera and attach to the Service jot. In addition, you can add a rating (1-5 stars) as well as tag a Service as a Favorite and add comments. Finally, you can add names (from the device’s Contact list or as free text) of people that were with you at that service. Once a jot is created, it can be shared with a single click to your social networks.

For Things, you can jot the name, category (e.g. books, music, movies and wine) and then add relevant details of the respective “Thing.” The details are presented in context of the chosen category – e.g. for Wines you can choose through a wheel the type of wine; for books, music and movies, you can pick genres. In addition, you can also add a picture of the Thing from the iOS Picture Gallery or take a picture with the camera and attach to the Thing jot. In addition, you can add a rating (1-5 stars) as well as tag a Service as a Favorite and add comments. Finally, you can add names (from the device’s Contact list or as free text) of people that may have a shared interest in the Thing jot. Once a jot is created, it can be shared with a single click to your social networks.

For People, you can jot the name, relationship and location of a person you have met as well as comments in a free text field. In addition, you can also add a picture of the person from the iOS Picture Gallery or take a picture with the camera and attach to the People jot. In addition, you can add a rating (1-5 stars) as well as tag a person as a Favorite and add comments. Finally, you can add names (from the device’s Contact list or as free text) of people that may have a shared interest in the person (e.g. those who may have been present when you met the Person you’re jotting). Once a jot is created, it can be shared with a single click to social networks.

Finally there is a Quick Jot functionality to rapidly capture some key data (e.g. the name of a restaurant you’re driving by) which can then subsequently be categorized and enhanced with more details.

Once jots are created, they are searchable through a Quick Search bar at the bottom of the home screen of the app, as well as through an advanced search screen. Searches can be as broad or as specific (e.g. search only within the Restaurants category within Places).

The list of all jots created can be viewed on the My Jots screen, where a brief summary of each jot is presented along with a thumbnail picture, star rating and favorite tag if applicable.

Finally, there is a Settings section of the app where the user’s login credentials (via Facebook, Twitter or G+) are configured/stored, in addition to their name and photo (picked from the social network login chosen to be the Identity Provider for the Mobijot app).
